Room to grow: New offices for Allseas Global in Bingham

Expansion in Bingham

Allseas Global Logistics has moved into a new state-of-the-art office – with further expansion and new opportunities on the agenda.

The company has grown rapidly in recent years and has been moving into new specialist areas of logistics. The new office, at Bingham, provides plenty of room to continue that growth, says branch manager Darren Sorsby.

“We had outgrown our previous office space and needed to move to a larger office,” he says. “We are expanding in response to increasing demand for our services, and to ensure we have room for further expansion.”

Allseas has been particularly busy, even throughout the recession, in the oil & gas sector but it is also reporting steadily rising demand for export services from the UK manufacturing sector, as well as other industry sectors.

“We are doing a huge amount for UK manufacturing – for example, we recently moved a £9 million production line from the UK to Pakistan,” says Darren. “It is great to see other countries recognising and investing in the UK’s engineering projects and skills and we are proud to be supporting that.”

Darren comes from an engineering background himself, and says that this helps tremendously when working with engineering clients. “When we are working on a big project, I can walk around the client’s shop floor and understand the terminology, technical drawings, challenges and issues.

“I was an engineer for 17 years; I joined Allseas six years ago, and it’s great to see the company going from strength to strength. Now we have a new, modern office with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure as well as storage space. We have a really dynamic team here who are really enthusiastic about jumping into any challenge; we offer a very customer-focused service and thrive on taking up the hardest challenges on behalf of our customers, while also helping new exporters who need guiding through the process.”

Allseas Global Logistics’ new office is on the Bingham Industrial Estate. “We look forward to welcoming customers and visitors to our new ‘home’,” says Darren.
