Industrial action at UK ports and airports announced

26 January 2023

Up to 100,000 civil service members of the Public and Commercial Services union will be striking on Wednesday 1st February 2023. The industrial action will likely impact the movement of goods through UK ports and airports on this day, with some disruption anticipated for February 2nd as business returns to normal. 

We advise that goods be moved outside of this period, if possible, to avoid disruption.
