Expedited product launch across Far East Westbound rail
Challenge
Working against the clock to deliver a product launch from across the world
Journey
Guangdong, China to Hull, UK
Key facts
- Allseas rail freight services provided client with sea freight alternative
- Up against tight deadline to launch product into market
- A range of external factors were mitigated in order to meet project timeline
Challenge
The geopolitical tensions in the Red Sea necessitated an alternative to the traditional sea freight route for our client, who were working towards a product launch in the UK and Ireland.
Process
After evaluating various logistics options, our client opted to partner with Allseas Global Logistics for our expertise in rail freight.
Along with the usual challenges that come with international rail freight, we also found ourselves up against weather-induced delays and train strikes along the 12,000km long route from China to the UK.
Outcome
Meticulous tracking and effective communication allowed for the overall transit time to be significantly shorter than the sea freight alternatives. The project timeline was maintained and the product reached the market as planned.
“Based on our experience, we highly endorse Allseas Global Logistics rail service for businesses seeking reliable and efficient freight solutions. Their ability to deliver under tight deadlines, combined with their exceptional service and communication, makes them a preferred partner for international logistics.”
“We look forward to collaborating with Allseas Global Logistics for future projects, confident in their capacity to support our logistical needs.”
