2013 Global Freight Awards are launched
The industry’s most prestigious and hotly contested awards ceremony will take place on 20 November at Planit Embankment Gardens, London.
This will be the 17th year of what is viewed as the premier networking event in the logistics calendar, consistently attracting more than 600 freight forwarders, service providers and their customers.
Sponsors for this year’s event include Cargowise, Allseas Global Logistics, Freightliner, Maersk Line and Executive Recruitment Specialists.
We are often asked how to win a Global Freight Award, formerly known as the IFW Awards. There is no trick – just two simple steps. The first is to be great at what you do. The second is to enter the Awards.
We can’t help you with the first requirement, but the second is very easy, and you have until 14 June to either nominate your company for a judged category, or to nominate and vote for your favourite carrier.
Visit www.globalfreightawards.com where you will find a full run down of the criteria for the 17 different awards, most of which are judged by our distinguished panel of independent judges drawn from across the industry and chaired by Lord Berkeley.
The carrier awards, on the other hand, are nominated and voted for by you.
We’ve made the entry process as simple as possible so that all we require (for judged nominations) is a simple online submission containing an 800-word(ish) description of your company and why it deserves an award.
Remember, you don’t need an eye-watering turnover to bag a Global Freight Award, but you have to be in it to win it.
