Strike action at Felixstowe
24 October 2022
More than 1,900 members of Unite union at Felixstowe will strike for eight days from Sunday 21 August until Monday 29 August. We expect significant disruption, with very few collections or deliveries being possible during this period.
2M (Maersk & MSC) and Ocean Alliance (COSCO, CMA CGM and Evergreen) have amended their port rotations to ensure vessels due to arrive during the strike period will now arrive outside the strike period.
The CSCL BRISBANE and YM EVOLUTION will omit calling at Felixstowe next week
The EVER ALOT will finish operations just before the strikes start. The EVER ALP that was initially due 26th Aug, will now anchor at quay until operations re-open.
The Alliance (Hapag Lloyd, ONE, Hyundai Merchant Marine and Yang Ming) have yet to confirm their plans.
Our team are working hard to mitigate the circumstances where possible, but your patience and understanding during this period of disruption is appreciated.
