We’re Hiring: Junior Airfreight Operator

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Junior Airfreight Operator at our busy and friendly head office based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fast pace Airfreight Department, gaining knowledge and training along the way. You’ll be a team player and looking to make their next career move with a forward thinking and rapidly expanding company.

Duties include:

• Daily dealings with a range of customers, airlines and suppliers alike
• Provide excellent customer service levels at all times, in which the company prides itself on
• Completing Customs entries to ensure cargo is cleared in good time

Must have’s (Skills & Capabilities):

• Experience of imports or/and exports within Airfreight
• Familiar with Airfreight documentation
• Understanding of Customs procedures & completing entries (basic knowledge will be fine)
• Good communication skills & commitment to high customer service
• Knowledge of Incoterms
• Knowledge of documentation within Airfreight
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Attention to detail

Experience level:  Min 1 year within freight forwarding.
